In the belief that solid science is a vital component of successful conservation, our mission is to ensure an ongoing contribution to conservation by facilitating multidisciplinary research and studies of the region’s biodiversity. We aim to contribute to the currently inadequate database, and to suggest conservation options and approaches relevant to this unique habitat. ARRS continues to support and facilitate the efforts of Government agencies, NGOs and community-based organizations towards this end.
